Blog #1 Bold Cutting And Beginning The Wrench

The first week was exciting we got a idea of what the program really is going to be about and how the professor Jeff Curtis likes to teach. We did three main things one of which was bolt cutting and stretching them. I did about 8-10 bolts broke some, others I did not break just stretched them to the limit. My first class A bolt I had to cut out with a hacksaws, I attempted to break it but instead I got the bolt stuck on there pretty good. 

The next thing I did was the engine service: cummins worksheet. 
I learned how to use the website fairly well except the last question the correct answer is 6. 



The last thing I accomplished this week was my wrench cut out. I got it all drawn up then I cut it out with a torch cutting tool. I practiced for about two days trying to cut straight lines and working on setting the flame correctly. Here are some pictures...
